Short profile of a Lifetime Nomad
My launch onto the 'International platform' began with the study of anthropology (MA 1985), followed by research work in East Africa and included my marriage to a member of the Foreign Service.
Further sojourns abroad followed suit: Tanzania (1988/89), Cameroon (1989-1991), Burkina Faso (1994-1998), Poland (1998-2000), Estonia (2005-2007) and Ireland (2011-2014). In July 2014 I moved back to Berlin. The scope of my professional experiences gained abroad range from consultancy work for UNICEF and GTZ, working in the visa section of an embassy to organizing international conferences.
Following further training to become a business administrator specialised in the meeting and convention industry, I founded the consulting firm 'Seibel - WorldWide Living' in 2001 in Berlin. Becoming an intercultural trainer in 2009/10 complemented my professional profile.
My expertise: Designing, organizing and running seminars to prepare you for life and work abroad.
My conviction: Active dialogue with "all things" foreign in advance of living abroad helps you avoid a variety of problems, or at least reduce them to solvable levels.
My offer: Assistance and support in the development of your individual strategy for living and working in an international environment.
