Short profile of a Lifetime Nomad

My launch onto the ‘International platform’ began with the study of anthropology (MA 1985), followed by research work in East Africa and included my marriage to a member of the Foreign Service.

Further sojourns abroad followed suit: Tanzania (1988/89), Cameroon (1989-1991), Burkina Faso (1994-1998), Poland (1998-2000), Estonia (2005-2007) and Ireland (2011-2014). Since June 2018 I live in Zagreb. The scope of my professional experiences gained abroad range from consultancy work for UNICEF and GTZ, working in the visa section of an embassy to organizing international conferences.

Following further training to become a business administrator specialised in the meeting and convention industry, I founded the consulting firm ‘Seibel – WorldWide Living’ in 2001 in Berlin. Becoming an intercultural trainer in 2009/10 complemented my professional profile.
